Report Trafficking or Exploitation

Use this page when a person may not be free to leave

This route exists for one thing: a suspicion that somebody in an entry is not acting for themselves. It is read before anything else in the queue, and it is read by a person.

• Someone appears controlled, threatened, confined, deceived, or unable to leave.
• An entry or a message suggests a person under eighteen.
• Sexual images appear to have been published without the consent of the person shown.
• Documents, money, travel or the phone itself appear to be held by somebody else.
• An entry looks connected to trafficking, forced labour or sexual exploitation.

Anything outside that list still matters and still gets acted on. It simply moves faster through its own channel: a scam or an impersonation through the Safety Warning, your own photographs published by somebody else through DMCA and Copyright Notices, everything else through Contact Us.

What to send, and what not to do

A report that names the page and the observation is enough. You do not need proof, and you should not go looking for it.

• The exact URL of the entry or the image, copied from the address bar.
• What you observed, in your own words, and when it happened.
• Any detail that can be shared safely, including a display name, a district or a phone number that appeared in a message.

Do not confront a suspected trafficker, do not arrange a meeting to gather evidence, do not obtain anything unlawfully, and do not publish details about a possible victim anywhere. A report can be sent without leaving your name.

What happens after you send it

1. A person reads the report. Reports suggesting a minor or coercion are marked urgent and jump the queue.
2. A person takes the entry out of public view while the report is open, where what was reported would justify it. Nothing here does that automatically, and a report is not a switch.
3. The desk preserves the records connected to the entry, and compares linked accounts, before anything is deleted.
4. Where law or immediate safety requires it, the matter is referred to the appropriate authority.

Two limits are worth stating plainly. Confidentiality is handled carefully, but it cannot be promised where disclosure is legally required, or where it is the only way to protect someone. And the outcome cannot be reported back to you in detail, because the person in the entry has their own rights in whatever follows.

If it is happening now

This is not an emergency service. In Hong Kong, police, fire and ambulance answer on 999, and an emergency in progress belongs there first.

The Hong Kong Police Force page on trafficking in persons sets out the multi-agency response and the support available to victims. Anyone who is in that situation themselves, rather than reporting on behalf of someone else, should start there.

Why a directory carries this page at all

A register that publishes adult advertising has no way to confirm that an advertiser is acting freely. Saying so is the honest position rather than a disclaimer, and what the desk does and does not check is listed in About Us.

What is left is the reader. Somebody who reads an entry closely, or exchanges a few messages, sometimes sees what a register cannot see from the outside. This page is the shortest path from that observation to a person who can act on it, and it is also why the Hong Kong escort adverts published here carry no wording suggesting anyone has been screened.
