Where she is from and how she looks are two different questions
Men look for a Hong Kong escort with one of two questions in mind, and the two are not interchangeable.
One question is a country: the Thai women advertising here, Filipina, Japanese, Russian.
The other is a look, which most Hong Kong adverts call ethnicity and which covers several countries at once, the way escorts grouped as European do, so Asian covers far more women than any single nationality does.
Decide which of the two you are after before you start, because choosing on the country when you meant the look leaves most of the women here unseen. Indian escorts are where the two questions collide hardest, since the word answers both at once.
A third search starts from what she offers instead of who she is, and it narrows less than it looks. Most of the women advertising in Hong Kong tick most of the service list, so a word like erotic massage and what it covers in Hong Kong tells you what she will discuss, not which women to rule out. Use the service words to learn what to ask for, and her country or her district when you want a shorter list.
864 women advertise in Hong Kong at the moment, spread across Central and Western and seventeen other districts.
Almost every escort in Hong Kong works in English, and about half bring a second language
English is on nearly every profile here, so the first message to a Hong Kong escort is rarely the problem.
What changes the evening is the second language: French, German, Thai, Tagalog and Russian come up most, and roughly half of these women speak one of them. If you would rather agree the hours and the limits in your own language than in English, that second line is the one thing on her profile you cannot work around later. Where Russian is the language you need, the Russian women advertising here are gathered on their own.
864 of them work in English and Thai is the most common of the rest, on 145 profiles.
Her place or yours, and the harbour in between
An incall means the escort receives you where she works. An outcall means she comes to your hotel or flat.
The harbour lies between the two halves of the city, and it is the stretch of the journey that behaves worst late at night. That weighs more when she is the one crossing it, because the hour she gets home is part of what she is agreeing to. Both formats are offered in almost equal measure here, so the format is yours to pick and not something you inherit from whoever you happen to like the look of.
Right now the split is close: 703 receive at their own address, 722 will travel to you.
Read the district before the photographs, because it predicts the format better than anything else in her advert.
Women advertising in Central and Western, Wan Chai or Yau Tsim Mong can nearly all receive you: in the centre a flat kept for work sits within walking distance of the hotels and the bars, and the men who want an hour at short notice are already in those streets.
- Central and Western, Wan Chai, Yau Tsim Mong. Almost every woman here receives, and most will travel as well, so you still have both options open when you write.
- Southern, Eastern, Sha Tin, Sai Kung and the New Territories. The further out you go, the more of them only travel to you, and the address in her advert is where she lives and not a room she rents by the hour.
- Sham Shui Po, Kwun Tong, Wong Tai Sin, Tai Po. Coming to you is the default out here and receiving is the exception, so ask before you plan an incall.
On the Kowloon side the Filipina adverts around Tsim Sha Tsui sit closer together than any other country does here. The constraint runs one way only. An outcall can be arranged from almost any district in the city, while an incall is what the centre has and the edges largely do not.
Central and Western alone accounts for 151 of the 864 women advertising now.
What an hour costs, and which number to compare
Compare adverts on the hour, in Hong Kong dollars, and leave the longer bookings until you have picked out a few women.
The longer lines are not priced on their own. Each one follows from whatever she asks for an hour, and by nearly the same step for everybody, so two women who differ on the night differ by as much on the hour.
Two things in those figures repay a second look. An overnight is priced above a twelve-hour booking, so when what you want is the hours and not the night, ask for the twelve. And she asks more to travel than to receive at every length, which is her time getting to you and back, not a fee added on top of hers.
The hour itself runs HK$1,200 to HK$3,900 among the women advertising now, and the table shows what the longer bookings come to beside it.
Many of them are touring instead of resident, so the dates on her advert decide as much as the figure on it: the women here on a tour work to a departure date that changes how quickly you have to write.
What the photographs can prove, and what they cannot
Her photographs are the only evidence you hold before you write to a Hong Kong escort.
A set of photographs settles build, styling and the look she is presenting, and 255 of these women add video, which settles appearance in a way a styled photograph cannot. The European adverts carry more of it than any other group here. What no photograph settles is when it was taken. Close that gap in the first message by asking plainly for what you need to see before you commit to a time, and treat the absence of a warning as the absence of a check rather than as a reassurance.
Before publication, one more check runs against the same photographs: a verification video, so the person applying and the person in the gallery can be verified as the same person. That is the one thing checked here, it says nothing about a document, an age or a rate, and it is described in full in Why we publish "no checks on record".
Ages run 18 to 45 across the women advertising now.
The wording of an advert says more about its author than about the evening
Two Hong Kong escorts can offer the same evening in completely different words, and the difference usually comes down to who typed the advert.
A woman writing for herself usually keeps the wording plain. Older pages in Hong Kong still say call girl, and the larger sites file the same women under escort girls or escort services, but the meeting does not change with the phrase. The word dates the advert; it does not describe the arrangement. The city gets shortened as freely as the woman does: half the adverts here write HK and the other half write it out, and nothing follows from which.
- When an advert slips into the plural and offers you its ladies, someone is writing on behalf of several women at once, and your message will be answered by an agency instead of by the woman in the photographs.
- A lady who calls herself VIP, or sits under a high class heading, is making a claim about her hour and not about anything she does. The figure a few lines below her says the same thing without the adjective, and it is the figure you will be paying.
- The word companion turns up where a woman expects the evening measured in hours out of the flat, and it usually arrives with a longer minimum booking than an hour indoors would carry.
- A page presenting escort models under one name, with the same styling on every photograph, is a roster written by one hand. Where the wording and the pictures shift from advert to advert, each woman is independent and answering for herself.
What none of this wording settles is whether sex is included. It is not in the heading and rarely in the label; the sexual side of the arrangement is spelled out in the service words further down her own page, and that is where the reading actually pays off. Whatever the advert calls her, the three questions stay the same: what she does, what she asks for an hour, and whether she receives you or comes to you.
Four of the countries here sit under one word, and that word comes apart the moment you pick one of them. Where an advert names a manner instead of an act, girlfriend experience and what it leaves unsaid is where that difference gets explained.
